FBLS: The very first organization I joined and the last organization I will say goodbye to
The Florida Business Leadership Society became the first open door for me at UF. I have grown from director positions to Executive Board positions. I am happy and so proud to have served as President this year and I cannot wait to watch the growth of FBLS far beyond my years at UF.
FBLS is a professional development organization focused on finding one's path at UF, personal goals, and a future career. I just so happened to also find a family. FBLS took me on a path that looks very different from many of my peers. I take pride in promoting international experiences and study abroad to all FBLS members in hopes to inspire more students to become Global Gators.
IPSA's: Served as an International Programs Student Ambassador for 3 years
Since returning from London, I knew I wanted to continue to globalize my education and encourage my peers to do so. Being an IPSA has allowed me to relive my study abroad experiences, while influencing other students to create their own stories abroad. Leaving your comfort zone can be scary, but my role as an IPSA has made me more confident in leading others down an uncertain path of adventure, self-realization, and a whole new cultural experience.
