Who am I?

I am a fourth year finance major with a minor in leadership at the University of Florida. I was born and raised in Pembroke Pines, located in South Florida.  At a very young age I knew I was destined to become part of the Gator Nation and I am proud to say I will be leaving UF as a Gator for life. I am obsessed with traveling and fully attribute that to my time in London while I studied abroad. When I’m not in the Heavener School of Business, working or in class, you will most likely find me playing my guitar or taking a day trip away from Gainesville.

As my four year journey at the University of Florida approaches its final days and I prepare for graduation, I will reflect upon the many opportunities the University of Florida has afforded me with a great sense of appreciation and pride. This reflection upon my many experiences has allowed me to finally answer the daunting question, “Who am I?" I am fiercely independent and passionate about people, places, and new adventures.  As a freshman beginning my college career, I struggled at times to find my voice. Today, I proudly speak with conviction and tirelessly advocate for everything I believe in.

My international experiences and involvement at UF have been an invaluable part of my personal growth and have helped me develop a unique global perspective. The international coursework and experiences I have had as a Global Gator have made me a better person. For that, I am truly grateful.

If there is one thing I hold true, it is the phrase that I live by: “say what you mean and mean what you say.”
